Designed for participants aged 12-18, these 2hr workshops draw on principles from a range of different creative dance and movement practices. Each session is built around a different theme, and makes use of mindful direction, music and selected props to help extend creativity and physical expression. The result is an integrated movement experience that can be grounding, relaxing, playful, soulful, joyful and anything in between!
Workshops incorporate individual, small group and whole class work, and each session includes aesthetic and design-based exploration as well as physical movement. Any young person wanting to move or extend their creativity in a new direction is welcome - no previous dance experience required.
