Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Sustainable Living Festival

Venue: Federation Square

Improvised and choreographed dance performances, working with the Freedom Team and live musicians. A collaborative performance work was created for the opening ceremony and various spontaneous, improvised performances by members of Travel Art Dance Company took place throughout the festival.

Dance Showing – Travel Art Dance Company

Venue: Victorian Ballet School, Fitzroy

A small-scale, more intimate performance in the Travel Art Dance Company rehearsal space. The performance included works-in-progress and some previously staged pieces, as well as several entirely improvised works.

Guest Performance with Flare Dance Ensemble - Rhythmicity

Venue: Union House Theatre, The University of Melbourne

Two items from Meah Velik-Lord's Beautiful Bazaar (Shake Well Before Opening) were slightly re-worked for this performance, and performed by four dancers from Travel Art Dance Company.
